After all the rain that we got this summer, it was a relief to have a clear forecast for Shayna and Scott’s big day. Shayna and her bridesmaids got ready in her Aunt’s beautiful home, which was adorned with flowers everywhere and gorgeous details, including a champagne tower and a dentist, a family friends that came to use approved teeth whitening systems for the bride and a bridesmade.
The venue was a beautiful rustic farm with stunning views. They had a sweet ceremony, and bagpipes accompanied the professional.
After the ceremony, the bridal party headed down to the water and enjoyed some apps and champagne. We all proceeded up for the lovely tented reception, with a Lexi’s Burger Bus and heavy appetizers all night. I don’t think anyone could have possibly left hungry! It was a fun crowd and was a great way to kick off the fall wedding season!
When you picture your wedding, what do you see? A swanky reception at a downtown loft? A backyard barbecue with all your friends and family? A classic hotel ballroom reception?
If you need a little more inspiration, think about all the weddings you’ve been to, seen on TV, or scrolled through on Pinterest. What did you like—or not like—about them?
Don’t get hung up on the little details just yet. Instead, think about the overall feel you want your wedding to have. When it comes to planning a wedding on a budget, knowing your priorities matters.
