Sara and Arthur | 9.22.2018 | Hamilton House, South Berwick, ME

When I first met Sara, she was showing me her vision for her wedding day as we walked through the property surrounding the historic Hamilton House, built in 1785. Overlooking the Salmon Falls River, it’s a stunning backdrop for a wedding.
Sara and Arthur really made that vision come to life. The entire day, from Sara getting ready at the Sailmaker’s House in Portsmouth, to the gorgeous wood tables and lush greenery at the reception, was full of romantic, vintage touches.
The two had a sweet, intimate ceremony with a breathtaking view. The weather could not have been nicer. After the ceremony, we trekked through the woods — something they love doing together on non-wedding days — to take their couple portraits.
The reception tent was gorgeous. From a beautiful floral arch, to the antique touches and florals. I had a blast photographing all the details.
The two shared an amazingly impressive first dance, and then spent a lovely evening celebrating with their family and friends.

It was such an honor to capture the day and I hope you enjoy the highlights!
